General Advice

  • Make sure to always finish your auto attack chain before you start casting any other skill.
  • Spear of Justice  activates your Big Game Hunter trait, so you always want to synchronise it with your Procession of Blades . It’s also a pull if activated twice.
  • Wings of Resolve  is a  good burst heal to keep up scholar. It also removes conditions. It can be used as a gap closer too.
  • Shield of Courage  grants aegis  to your group. It is really helpful to block incoming damage!
  • Place the outer edge of Test of Faith  in the hitbox of the boss to benefit from the “crossing” damage
  • Test of Faith  is your weakest utility skill. Feel free to change this for any other utility skill, if there is the need for it.
  • Only use Dragon’s Maw  for DPS if no additional CC is needed.
  • Bane Signet  is your strongest hard CC skill but it will come at the cost of a big dps loss. Use it only for CC if you desperately need it.

Use Ring of Warding (Hammer #5) to keep Seekers away from your group. Banish (Hammer #4) should be mainly used for CC but you can also use it to push Seekers in emergency situations or when you don’t need CC

Use Zealot’s Embrace (Hammer #3) to immobalize Seekers

If you need extra pushes, you can use a shield on your second weapon set and push the Seekers with Shield of Absorption (Shield #5)

Shelter & Shield of Courage will block  blue circles

Use Wings of Resolve to help with additional heals during the split phase

Boss Example:

Use Banish (Hammer #4) & Ring of Warding (Hammer #5) for CC. You have to place the edge of the ring inside the hitbox of the boss to make it work as a CC.

Use Shield of Courage and/or Retreat to block Gorsevals Ground Pound

If you need to hold Spirits, use Zealot’s Embrace and Test of Faith to immobilize and cripple the Spirits

You can also autoattack without activating Spear of Justice, to make use of the effect of Zealot’s Aggression

If you are on cannon duty, use Wings of Resolve to get to the launchpad quickly

Use Banish (Hammer #4) & Ring of Warding (Hammer #5) for CC. You have to place the edge of the ring inside the hitbox of the boss to make it work as a CC.

You can block the Slothasor’s shake attack with Shelter and Shield of Courage. Make sure to stay in the middle of Slothasor’s hitbox to block them for your teammates aswell.

If you need pulls, you can use Greatsword on your second weaponset instead of Scepter & Torch. You can also pull slublings with Spear of Justice,
but we don’t recommend that since it’s a big DPS loss.

You can use Wall of Reflect and/or Shield on your second weaponset, if extra Reflects or projectile absorbs are required.

Boss Example:

Play Greatsword on your second weaponset to pull trashmobs together

Use Wall of Reflection for reflects against the Bandit Snipers

You can do Mortarts like shown in the following video:

Bring Wall of Reflection for this fight to reflect the projectiles during the bubble attack

Use “Stand Your Ground” for some stability to prevent getting knocked into mines or kicked from the towers

Bring a shield on your second weapon set to push the adds with Shield of Absorption (Shield #5) on the towers

Use Zealot’s Embrace (Hammer #3) and Test of Faith to slow down the wargs

You can freely use Bane Signet for CC on this boss, since it will be ready for the burn phase

Use Banish (Hammer #4) and Spear of Justice to pull and push the orb into ley rifts

Bring a Scepter & Torch on your second weapon set for the case you have to step on a button

If you get teleported, you can use Wings of Resolve to get back to the boss quickly

You can use Wings of Resolve to quickly get to the blue tiles on challange mote

Push Rigom with Banish (Hammer #4) and immobalize him with Zealot’s Embrace (Hammer #3)

Use Banish (Hammer #4) & Ring of Warding (Hammer #5) for CC. You have to place the edge of the ring inside the hitbox of the boss to make it work as a CC.

Use Shield of Courage or Retreat! to block Mind Crush

CC Breakdown

Take Radiant Fire and Amplified Wrath if your retaliation uptime is bad

Use this build only if you have a high average uptime of the aegis boon

Situational Skills:

Check the “Tips” tab for more detailed information.

Scepter & Torch + Greatsword

  • Always try to finish your autoattack chain on greatsword before you start casting something else.
  • Try to use Procession of Blades and Spear of Justice in conjunction with each other. Their cool downs will line up because of the Piercing Light trait.
  • You want all the projectiles of Whirling Wrath to hit the boss. To do so, position yourself right inside the hitbox of the boss.

Daytime: Day

Potion: Powerful Potion of Krait Slaying / Powerful Potion of Slaying Scarlet’s Armies (Works only on the kraits at the beginning)

Sigil: Superior Sigil of Serpent Slaying (Works only on the kraits at the beginning)

Useful Skills:

This fractal is pretty straight forward. Use “Retreat!” for extra swiftness for the dark path and before you enter the dolphin path.

Use Renewed Focus and/or “Stand Your Ground!” for invulnerability and/or stability to push past the krait in the dark path.

Bring Hammer of Wisdom to the last boss for some extra CC. Use Smite Condition if the instability stacked to many conditions on you.

You can use any form of stunbreak, to break free when the Jellyfish boss eats you.

Example:

coming soon

Daytime: Night

Potion: No useful potions for this fractal

Sigil: Superior Sigil of the Night

Useful Skills:

Use “Retreat!” and “Stand Your Ground!” For swiftness and stability + stunbreak for the orb part.

Wings of Resolve are also really useful to move faster.

Use Shield of Courage when Bloomhunger jumps in order to give aegis to your teammates and block the initial jump damage.

Use Leap of Faith and Wings of Resolve to get to the orbs quickly at the 25% split.

Example:

Daytime: Day

Potion: Powerful Potion of Flame Legion Slaying (only for the Fire Shaman) / Powerful Potion of Outlaw Slaying (only for Veteran Bandir Saboteur)

Useful Skills:

Use “Retreat!” to move faster past the harpies at the start and close to the end.

Shield of Absorpion can help you blocking the projectiles from the harpies.

Use Wall of Reflection at the 4 champs since this encounter is very projectile heavy.

On the stairs with the lasers, run ahead and block the lasers with Shield of Absorption (Shield #5) and Shield of Courage. You can also block the lasers with the aegis from Shield of Judgment (Shield #4) or “Retreat!”.

If you are on top already and you teammates are struggling to get up the stairs, you can put Wall of Reflection in front of the leaser spawners to make it easier for your teammates to run up. This will leave you with 1 less utility skill for Old Tom though.

You can block old toms attacks for your teammates with Shield of Courage if your teammates position themselves behind you.

Use Wall of Reflection to block the projectiles from the Raving Asura endboss.

The pull from Spear of Justice or Binding Blade (Greatsword #5) is very useful to bring the 4 Golems at the endboss close together for a faster burst.

Example:

Daytime: Day

Potion: no useful potions for this fractal

Sigil: no useful sigils for this fractal

Useful Skills:

“Stand Your Ground” and Hallowed Ground are very useful in this fractal! The stability they provide is very useful for the knockbacks from the ballistas.

Wall of Reflection can help to deal with the projectiles of the trash mobs.

“Retreat!” will provide additional swiftness for the “cross the courtyard” part.

Use pulls from Binding Blade (Greatsword #5) and Dragon’s Maw to bring the trash mobs close together for better cleaving.

Use Wall of Reflection, Sanctuary and Shield of Absorption (Shield #5) to block the Fire Tornados and the Fire AOEs at the weapons test.

You might consider switching to the Virtues for  the Master of Consecrations  trait for lower CD on Wall of Reflection and Sanctuary.

Use the pull from Spear of Justice to pull the veteran away from the core after the second phase of the weapons test.

You can also use Banish (Hammer #4) to push them away or Ring of Warding (#Hammer 5) / Line of Warding (Staff #5) to block them.

Use Wall of Reflection at 76% | 51% | 26% of the Ice Elementals HP to reflect his projectiles in order to prevent the fires from running out. The optimal position to place Wall of Reflection is right into the hitbox of the Ice Elemental.

Use Wall of Reflection for the endboss fight to reflect the projectiles from the Corrupeted Ice Crystals.

“Stand Your Ground!” and “Retreat!” will help you with the running part between the seals.
